It’s the best of both worlds, truly!

The year 2026, which has brought some of the most mind-blowing collaborations, has once again hit the jackpot. This time it’s a Miley Cyrus x Mattel collaboration that few would have guessed.

As a part of their collectible Barbie Signature series, Mattel unveiled a Barbie inspired by the “Hannah Montana” star.

Cyrus, apart from being a music icon, has also carved her name in other fields like acting and advocacy.

Dressed in faux leather outfit — consisting of black pants and jacket — the Barbie doll is inspired by Cyrus’ look in the “Golden Burning Sun” music video from “Something Beautiful: The Film.” It also carries accessories like sunglasses and microphone to complete the look. The most interesting part of the doll is, however, its connection with a motorbike.

In a statement as shared by The Toy Book, Nathan Baynard, Vice President and Head of Barbie, Mattel, shared “Barbie is dedicated to celebrating trailblazing women who break boundaries and inspire the next generation, and Miley Cyrus lives up to that mission.

Miley has consistently redefined what it means to be an artist and performer, using her platform to champion individuality and empower others to do the same,” continued Baynard, before adding, “We are incredibly excited to honor her fearless approach to self-expression and celebrate her authentic spirit with a Barbie for fans around the world.”

Barbie’s social media handles also shared the news as it wrote on Instagram with the image of the doll, “Something beautiful. Someone iconic. Meet the @mileycyrus Barbie doll, now at major retailers.”

Cyrus too gushed about the doll, as she shared, “Seeing my Barbie for the first time is a dream come true. We spent so much time really digging into the details. That’s something that wasn’t just important to me in designing the Barbie, but it’s also very important to my own creativity and the way that I represent myself.”

Speaking of her thoughts behind the design, she said, “We did not miss any marks in the design of my doll, from the look, hair, accessories, makeup, and structure. Every detail was purposeful, and we spent a lot of time perfecting her — not to be perfect, because that wouldn’t be representative of me, but to really get down to the details of this golden ‘Burning Sun’ look.”

Soon after the release, the fans took to the internet to gush about the latest release, as they gushed about the doll.

One of the fans reflected, “this doll looks like it’s about to drop an album, not sit on a shelf.”

Someone else, however, said, “can’t believe they made a doll out of her most unknown look.”

A fan joked on Facebook, “I’m wondering, does she come with her signature tattoos?”

Another fan declared, “I never thought my 34-year-old self would buy a Barbie doll, but I will have it Friday.”

Someone else chimed in, “With all her era, you can easily make whole series…😁.”
