Stevie Nicks is rumoured to be a guest at Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce, and may even perform.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, sources “confirmed” that Nicks would be attending the nuptials at New York’s Madison Square Garden – and one source said that she was set to perform.

The New York Times confirmed that Swift has rented the arena for two events this week.

The venue will host a gathering of around 100 people on Friday, July 2, followed by a larger celebration with around 1,000 guests the following day, according to the newspaper.

Several members of the Kansas City Chiefs, the team Kelce captains, have reportedly booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, according to another source.

The New York Times also reported that the police officers guarding Penn Station, which sits directly below the stadium, had been told to prepare for the high-profile wedding.

It is not clear on which day Nicks is set to attend.

The Fleetwood Mac singer has been close to Swift, writing a poem for the 14-time Grammy Award winner’s eleventh album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The poem, titled “For T — and me...” serves as the written prologue to the album.

Nicks also performed with Swift on her 2024 Eras tour, making an appearance at her Dublin show.

The pair also performed the Fleetwood Mac hit, Rhiannon, and Swift’s 2008 single You Belong With Me at the Grammy Awards in 2010.

Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2024, Nicks described Travis Kelce as a “good man”.

“She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” she told the magazine. “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.”

Of Nicks, Swift said: “I have Stevie Nicks in my life in a way that affects me positively constantly.”

Swift, Kelce and their event planners have gone to great lengths to keep information surrounding the wedding – including her dress, the guest list and the scale of the event – hidden away from the world’s prying eyes.
